Seattle-based psych-rock foursome Moon Darling released its new EP “By The Light of The Moon” last Friday, following up the premiere of the music video for the title track on Wednesday (see it via City Arts, the long-running publisher providing a deep dive on arts and culture in the region), and a packed record release show on Thursday at Fred Wildlife Refuge.

The band is already working on new material, as mentioned by drummer Michelle Nuño during her chat with Tom Tom Mag (“Drummers | Music | Feminism”), in which she also discusses the band’s latest single “Don’t Rise” (streaming now via New Noise), which includes some fierce fretwork by Moon Darling’s guitarist and vocalist, Michael Julian Escobar.

The band, which also includes bass guitarist, Jack Jay and keyboardist, Matthew Buckner, will be taking “By The Light of The Moon” out on the road for a tour of the West Coast starting in late February. See below for just-announced dates, with more to be added shortly.

“By The Light of The Moon,” the latest from Seattle-based band Moon Darling is out now. Members of Moon Darling are available for interviews. Contact Josh Bloom at Fanatic for more information.
